Fighting vs a tank now is impossible honestly, the 45% BONUS armor penetration is nothing. a tank builds 150 armor, that makes it 67.5. Then the 12% damage reduction ontop of it is just way too much.

You need to learn about percentages more.

Lets say you typically do 100 damage. 3 attacks is 300 damage.

Now lets say each is reduced by 12%. Each attack now does 88 damage. 88 x 3 = 264.

264 is 88% of 300...or a 12% reduction in damage.

the damage reduction doesnt stack 100(damage)-12(reduced damage)=88 damage taken 100-12+100-12+100-12=264 damage taken 300-12%=264 damage taken

Last whisper does not need a buff. Tanks are meant to be tanky. They are not meant to shred like paper because you bought one item

If a tank can survive your whole team attacking him like garen/maokai while still being able to one shot you with a spell rotation, that's not balanced

that simply does not happen. in order to be that tanky you will have to build pure tank with no damage. no damage means no FUCKING DAMAGE I have a feeling you got snowballed on by a tank and now you are complaining about it

nop, garen, maokai, gnar etc have damage built into their kits so you can even build full tanky and still kill someone. every tank has some kind of damage in their kit, black cleaver or rod of ages, and a garen with black cleaver and rest full tank can survive a 1v5 and still kill the villian. gnar can jump in and live through 5 people and smash the adc to bits while his team follows up, not to mention thornmail. most of the time if someone has 200+ armor or so you'll still take more damage than you can lifesteal with a bt

i have no idea what planet you are on. garen is not a tank and cannot 1v5 unless fed maokai is a tanky blob that does some damage but not a ton gnar is either dealing % max health damage but is squishier or meelee and dealing low damage but a lot of cc ROA is not a tank item black cleaver is a bruiser item thornmail is complete trash

Garen is a fighter, Gnar is weird (outside of Mega Gnar he is a ranged fighter imo. It's just that Mega Gnar if times well can do the tank job well) and Maokai is Maokai.

If you can't peel for your carry than it's your fault.

they cant cc entire teams or initiate by smashing right into the middle of your backline from long distance.

tanks have high defense, often high (or at least decent) mobility and a load of cc. Malphite Nautilus Leona Sejuani

juggernauts have low mobility, high defense, high damage and almost no cc. maybe a single target slow, or in garens case a short silence. but it wont compare to smacking a sejuani ult into 5 people or plowing though the enemy backline with a malphite ult. Garen Nasus DrMundo Mordekaiser

Fuck no it doesn't need a buff. Unless you're Rammus or Malphite, once late game hits and the adc has last whisper built, they are pretty much completely and utterly fucked.
