This makes utterly no sense. A skillshot that both you and the target wants you to land.. meaning they wont try to dodge it except by accident, making it totally pointless.

I've already played a hero in hots that is like that. It's a huge pain in the butt. Too much of a pain, so no.

No, because the chaos involved in a team fight makes it moot at times. Not to mention if it were to really be a skill shot, it'd be fair to make it so it'd be allowed to heal multiple people, not just one. Otherwise she'd be useless. Which, I'd wager, would have the adverse effect intended by making it a skill shot.

By all means, if it were a skill shot that doesn't pass through the first unit (i.e a minion can block it).

This actually doesn't fix any of the problems that occur around Soraka.

Soraka's teamfighting is actually very fair because she's squishy, needs to stay close to her allies, and immobile. Any sort of flanking assassin or diver can blow her up in an instant, which cripples her team because Soraka provides literally nothing but heals (okay, not quite, but her power is pretty much entirely used through her allies, she isn't a threat by herself). The actual issue of Soraka is her laning phase, and Riot did a very good job of nerfing that with the heal cooldown changes making it harder to nullify poke and all-ins early game. By making her heal a skillshot but strengthening it, you actually strengthen her laning phase (the most aggravating part for her opponents to play against) and weaken her teamfight phase (where she's a lot more vulnerable).

There's enough unreliable supports in the game now, no thank you. Being a squishy immobile person who has to get close up is more than enough.

so because the support roster is rather lackluster, it justifies soraka's point and click??

Yes, because her heal is ALL Soraka has. Literally.

Her Q and her E are piss easy to dodge. The latter being less so if she buys Rylai's, which she doesn´t and shouldn´t.

All your suggestion would bring is Soraka being a non-existent pick. During a time she isn´t even an issue.

Soraka's a heal bot. Other healers have utility and damage tied to them, like Sona and Nami. Soraka only heals. That´s all she does. That´s all she is. Turning her heal into a skillshot would be like turning AAs from Marksmen into skillshots as well.

It´s a dumb idea that would accomplish nothing but bad things. Plus, Soraka's nerfed enough.
