Too Much LCS Dependency? O.o

Back when I started LoL in season 3, the game was about keeping champions fair. If one was far weaker in every matchup, they would get a buff to make it so people would play that champion again (E.G. the old Soraka was way too powerful in matchups, being able to give back mana, making it so where you only had to recall to purchase items; and Urgot was very weak, so he got buffs to help maintain balance against other ADC's).

Now it seems as though the LCS and pro play in every region controls what happens with buffs and nerfs.

Is there even a remote possibility of going back to how things were done with this way back all those years ago?

If a Rioter could respond with information, it would be greatly appreciated. :)

They have buffed and nerfed because lower ELO have had issues with champs being useless or too strong.

they've explicitly said that this patch was more focused on pro play since it's the patch worlds will be played on.

...as I said, it's not just this patch. Go back to season 3 and watch patches and LCS changes and tell me I'm wrong.
