Can we not get PERMANENT ward skins or emotes from rewards?

So recently i opened a hextech chest and got a ward skin. Since i needed like 50 OE more to craft the skin i wanted, i was happy. But then when i checked the i didnt have the ward skin shard. I permanently unlocked the ward skin instead. Truthfully, when it comes to ward skins and emotes, id much much rather have them as shards to disenchant than permanent unlock

Why would you want to disenchant that when you can always #buy another chest and try again :)
