can y'all stop bitching about galio?
i get it, his q damage is more frontloaded, but the full q duration damage is nowhere near the old full duration q. if you want any proof here's my math breakdown of his q damage:
old full duration tornado damage at max rank: 170 (+0.8 ap)+ 70 (+0.6 ap) + (+3% per 100 ap) = 240(+1.4 ap)(+3% per 100 ap) new full duration tornado damage at max rank: 230 (+0.9 ap) = 230 (+0.9 ap) (+4% per 100 ap)
considering someone has 2000 hp. the equations become (couldn't use the * sign since it fucks up the font): old : 240 + 1.4ap + 2000•0.03ap/100 = 240 + 1.4ap + 0.6ap = 240 + 2ap new: 230 + 0.9ap + 2000•0.04ap/100 = 230 + 0.9ap + 0.8ap = 230 + 1.7ap
in other words, if the q is cast against someone with 2000 hp, no matter how much ap galio has, the old q would've done more damage.
now let's calculate how much hp the target should have in order for both the abilities to have the same scaling(if you increased the ap by x both of thier damage increases by y):
240 + 1.4ap + hp•0.03ap/100 = 230 + 0.9ap + hp•0.04ap/100 10 + (1.4+ hp•0.03/100)ap = (0.9 +hp•0.04/100)ap since we want the scaling to be the same, we ignore the flat number(10):
(1.4+ hp•0.03/100)ap = (0.9 +hp•0.04/100)ap 1.4+ hp•0.03/100 = 0.9 +hp•0.04/100 0.5 = hp•0.01/100 50 = hp•0.01 5000 = hp
so, in order for the new q to have the same scaling as the old one, you need to use them on a target with 5000 hp, someone with more than 5000 hp the new one will win in scaling, someone with less the old one
