during the passive activation time when he has no cooldowns his skills should cost less he is literaly the spammiest mage in the game, even with that insane mana pool he is going oom quite fast given the amount of stuff he needs to cast to keep up with other mages

Or toning down his WE mana cost. Both costs as much as every champ's ultimate, like what's the deal with that?

Better not be bcz "his ult is costless~!".....

I dont think anything needs to be done to ryze. Just played against one, and he had the mose insane burst with only 500ish ap. I had not much mr, but had a little, but high hp, and he shredded me faster then I could even react.

Best to keep a mana gate on that insanity

no is meant to be strong late game and he is balanced around being forced to build scaling items like tear and roa

you get that ttear and roa and maybe one more mana item to back it up and after a while of teamfighting you are ouut of mana

I think all he needs is faster projectile speed on his spell flux, so when you catch someone near creeps, they actually get punished instead of giving them 2 seconds to move away from them.

or maybe spells costs a bit less the more your max mana pool is.

Eh, his mana actually being able to run out is actually really interesting. If anything they could get him higher base mana regen, or slightly lower mana costs.

Or people could learn to get item 2139 to solve the remnant mana issues they might have on any champion.

The only buff Ryze needs is his passive stacks decaying one at a time instead of all at once, so he's not left with a kinda awkward and predictable window of weakness every time he tries to charge his tear.
