Why is Kindred's Q automatically smart cast? :(

Aside from victor laser and rumbles ult I don't understand why you wouldn't use quick cast for everything. You can still check the ranges if you select the checkbox to show ranges, and you also have the option to just use the ability without any extra clicking.

i actualy really like not quick casting on most skilshots like nid spears

I prefer to play normal cast for most of my champions's ults (Ashe, Nautilus, Sejuani), and I don't play with quick cast at all for my Xerath

For the extra security.
In lane, it's really helpful anticipating where your enemy will go, and whether or not you will hit if you have a long stick pointing to where your skill is going to go.
It's also helpful with targeted spells to know how close you can go. Near small walls this would help with dashing over them.
Near large minion waves this help me navigate better.

But as I said above, I just want these things to get used to champs ^^
