Worldwide pantheons main are quitting the champion because they no longer likes how he is played and how he looks with no helmet.

The champion doesn't feel like a lane bully anymore as much as he might be stronger than before he just doesn't faceroll like he always had and personally I don't like how he looks and prefer if he had his face hidden.

If you are reworking a champion design to something else and think " Hey he is handsome now" maybe some people don't have the same judgement of whats handsome or whats ugly, especially Asians would have prefer if he had his face hidden or shaved and less punk looking.

His point and click Q was literally the biggest problem with his old kit.

You might as well have asked for Aatrox to have kept his old W, or Poppy to have kept her old R. You're asking for the part of the kit that needed to die the most to be kept.

While I feel for them and it sucks to see dedicated mains quit, Pantheon had low counterplay, was oppressive in lane, fell off super hard, all in addition to having a linear playstyle.
