Do you think of Diana as more of a mage or an assassin?

So, Diana's first attribute is fighter and I don't think anyone would contest that Diana can definitely be played as a fighter.

But her second attribute is mage, but although I don't play Diana much, I have read a lot of posts that mention Diana in the forums, and most of those posts refer to her as an AP assassin rather than a mage. So what do you think? Diana more of a mage or an assassin?

She got gutted because shes a tanky dps mage assassin. So to answer your question. Both.

She's clearly an assassin, her all in combo forces her to either kill her target by building pure glass cannon or go really tanky and still do decent damage.

Someone like leblanc is a mixture of both because she can go in hard but she has the ability to get out no matter how hard she fails.

I think of her as an assassin. Although she is AP, she is more about bursting select targets, going all-in, and use her "mobility". A mage is more of throwing spells, teamfighting prowess, and not going for select targets, but trying to damage multiple targets at once, that's why most mages have AoE spells.
