Allright, so you think 44-45% winrate isnt bad enough, better make him a <40% winrate champion? Are you working for riots balance team? Because, that would explain some things....

Implying that a champions win rate is indicative of how broken they may, or may not be. ._. Remember Pre-Nerf LB? Uh, yeah, BUT MUH LOW WINRATE.

Litteraly every champion in the game has atleast one broken mechanic, but just because he might deal a lot of dmg and has a heal in his kit, doesnt make him broken as a whole.

Winrate is an indicator for how good a champion is a whole. Ofc, there are some exceptions to the rule, for example when a champion has a high skillcap like Azir. But thats obviously not the case with darius, who has a fairly low skillcap.

So if a champion like darius has a 44% winrate, that means he is everything BUT overpowered. One broken mechanic doesnt make a champion overpowered.

Winrate is an indicator of how effective a champion is at winning games across the board, whether it be in Diamond or Bronze. Generally a high win rate correlates to a champion being strong, but that isn't always the case. Darius currently has one of the highest ban rates in the game, so that technically makes him pick or ban. If he's pick or ban then he's likely to be first picked in most games that he's being played in. If he's being first picked in most games it isn't at all unlikely that enemy teams are picking champions specifically to counter him, or work around him, hence the low win rate. If not that, then they've intentionally left him open because they know that they can deal with him, and therefore wish to bait the enemy team into picking him. This however doesn't mean that Darius isn't currently too strong, as he really is. Look at Morderkaiser, he has an around 50% win rate despite being utterly broken.

Yeah man, making Darius lose a chunk of his damage on every ability accept his ult when you use literally his only reliable means of engaging would really fix Darius. I'm sure it wouldn't make him a piece of shit champion at all.
