Why is my ping higher then it ever used to be?

About a couple weeks back I've noticed my ping started to act weird going from the 40s-60s to steady 70s-90s. My internet is fine, my computer is fine - some minor bugs/glitches that I need to get fixed, and I believe it all started after 5.10 patch, but unsure.

Are there any ways to improve the ping? Please don't say "move to California either" that's just something a troll would say.
