Tribunal system needs rework

I went afk/disconnected (was not able to play one game) due to an error that occurred and needed to update my graphics card which I had noway of knowing that until the loading screen (loading into a game match) showed. As that occurred the error showed about dxdiag error....

"An unknown DirectX error has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Please make sure your video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer."

So then I finally did all that, researched the info., updated my graphics card, restarted my computer and by the time I did all that the match was already over. The punishment? 5 games of 10 minute prolonged queues - how is this fair at all? Please tell me how that is fair when it was an error I had no control over until I figured the problem out.

Instead why don't YOU Riot employees actually work and give those players on my team loss prevented and have a warning for a player that could not connect or was afk. This is ridiculous that I now have to go through these 10 minute queues because you can't establish a system that is more free, fair and/or tolerable for the community.
