Why isn't their a report option in champion select?

Here is a perfect example why we need to be able to report players in champion select.

may i ask what would that solve? are you saying that reporting someone will make the match end as in someone "forgot to select a champion"? because then i can see people simply reporting anyone when they don't get what they want or someone picks something they don't like. If that's not what you are implying then what would be the point if you would just have to wait until the game ends anyways unless you want to dodge

Based on my own personal experience, some people tend to just leave lobby if there's a troll. I know I've left a couple before a game started because of someone being a dick and you can't really do anything about it but leave.

So, to answer your question, this allows people to at least report toxic shenanigans before a game starts. It may not solve anything, but it also might help clear out some trolls who start shit in pregame lobbies.

Pretty sure Gurt could have typed this out in his own way and not responded like an ass though.

More then likely doesn't get captured for reports.

The tribunal should check any abuse of this of course... but I would like it. When someone writes "mid or feed" I just want to report him before he manages to ruin my game and maybe be able to start another.

i have had so many players say "X or feed" and guess what? 95% of them don't even feed and are often the reason the game is won. If you are going to report someone for saying something like that then it's just another reason for this thing to not even be available in champ select. What's next reporting for "refusing to communicate" just because someone didn't say anything in champ select?

You were lucky then. Of course if they manage to play X they said already they would not feed btw...
