I was Illa. I was 5/0 in 15 minute. Fiora was so behind. I took fb turret at top, then i took herald and I've used this on mid, we get next turret on mid. We were winning. But then Vayne fed her ass and we lost. Quality. Yes it may be not the highest elo by far, but situation is the sameon every rank I guess. I lost game as 13/10 (from 10/3) cuz Illa loses her power in late. Like almost every brusier. Time to stop play top for a while? Yep, that's league of legends, friend. Better bot lane wins unless both adcs are a league below everyone else.

Better botlane can't do anything if top or mid are worthless and make it a 4v5 game

Worthless mid= bot gets camped all day + jungle has hands full trying to save mid

Worthless top= bot gets camped all day + jungle has hands full trying to save top + no front line

Yes Jungle should focus the winning lane, not the failing one. Yes jungles will ignore the winning lane for the failing one

If the game is even AND your mid completely gets destroyed yea you will lose. That's normal.

The issue here is the following:

Your top laner fails, but you as an adc completely destroy the other adc. In this case you win, regardless of all the effort the enemy top laner did to win lane.

because when the ADC is ahead the support is there to pick up assists, also putting them ahead.

they now have 2 people ahead in the match compared to toplanes 1. and one is a carry, and the other providing tankiness or utility (or even more damage in the case of mage supports).

I just got out of a game where top and mid went 0-5. Play more ADC and you'll see how botlane doesn't matter when top or mid make it a 4v5

I just played 2 games when bot was "ok" and toplane lost to Irelia and mudno, and they just destoyed us

Top lane (imo) has three strats:

Take someone with a global ult like Kathus or Shen
Take someone who doesn't care about the rest of the map/team like Nasus or Yorick
Take some roving menace like Mundo or Teemo and ruin the late game.

All other options such as the straight-up laners don't seem viable currently. Having said that, Illaoi is usually in that second camp.

Keep playing top lane. I had the phase where i mained adc for ranked and it's fucking depressing honestly. You either get stomped like real fucking hard or just stomp yourself. Especially with uncontrollable mates it's just kinda "rare" to be fed constantly. Even if you are fed, sometimes some fed rengar leaps at you and just removes two thirds of your health for pressing Q before pressing right click. I personally stopped playing ranked because you just are useless every lane if your team doesn't play with you, no matter if you are a fed adc or top laner or any lane for that matter. If your team isn't able to kill the carrying champ it's over. It can be a Darius who just walks right into your team and heals up everything you've done or a Vayne with Morgana Black Shield, if you can't kill em it's over.

its funny people say this because adc's are perceived as broken.

but notice how it always changes to "OMGGG better top/mid/jg wins" when they int their asses off, and no one can carry it. but no, because its botlane, they get special hatred. if you play any adc, you can see how team reliant they actually are, and see how it feels when every other lane goes 0/12 XD.

His point is a fed middle or top laner isn't remotely as powerful as a carry regardless if said carry is behind. It's been a problem since season six, and why the clown fiesta bottom lane has been meta; everyone is trying to either feed their carry or kill the enemy carry, because it doesn't matter if they themselves die a couple times in comparison.

really, i've always felt that i had more impact on the game as a solo laner or jungler. no exp sponge to int and drag me down. the importance of adc is only not feeding so that they can take objectives. it's pretty easy to make sure a bad-but-not-feeding adc does just that, as a solo lane or jungler.
