Give sion a passive for dueling/mobility @riot just hear me out

sion current passive only truly works for cheesing and sneaking random kills but you get kited way to easy. i think sion needs a new passive to help dueling the worst thing that can ever happen to you when you play sion is you getting kited hard by a vayne and not being able to do anything about it also getting shredded by a devourer yi or a full build tryndamere as you try to ult away and run.

i think his passive should be reworked to a point where he can still hold his own against these champs before he dies so giving him a partial attack speed movement speed and % damage on hit after every spell cast removing the 100% life steal and giving him a more benefical stat like natural armor pen

He already gets sick dmg in his passive and it is way better than most death passives in the game, because you are still a moderate threat that needs to be dealth with. No other tank is usefull even when dead, atleast sion can be a distraction.

Vayne isnt really fair in this scenario(she is designed to counter tanks in generall) as Sion is supposed to be clunky, either you outsmart them with your ult(by using it point blank) and land a followup Q or you simply get kited.

Also, trynda and YI vastly outscales him.

You are a teamfighter, not a solo carry.

and your point being?

Hecarim has effectivally less cc than Sion and Hecarim needs to buy trinity.

Sion can go fulltank and still deal alot of dmg.

this passive isnt really meant to kill people

its to cause disorganization after you die

the damage is kinda lackluster some times ... but for sion as a tank to be able to initiate recklessly and punish enemies for killing you ... thats really good deal for him

the reworked passive here isn't mean to kill people either its meant to do something in between your cool downs and remain a threat nothing changed except you don't get it after you die you get it in the fight which is much more meaningful.

but his cooldowns arent that long ... and for his q its quite short

also as a sion you waste a lot if you wont get at least one good ad item since his passive easily fills up for the hp you didnt buy

That's actually a pretty good reason not to change him. He's good? Effective without anyone bitching about him one way or the other? That's a pretty well balanced champ right there.
