THE ENTIRE META AND HOW THE GAME WORKS fucking resolves around ADC. Unless all marksmen across the board got nerfed into the GOD DAMN BUTTHOLE SHITTIER (which didn't happen) Marksmen WILL ALWAYS CENTRAL IN LEAGUE.

You can play Divers, Vanguards, Wardens, Skirmishers in top lane. You can play assassins (slayers) artillery, control and battle mages in the mid lane, Vanguards, divers, slayers, skirmishers, vanguards, wardens and marksmen in the jungle. You can play enchanters, wardens, vanguards, artillery and control mages in the support role. What can you play in the carry bot lane role? Marksmen. That's it. Everything else is either very niche and requires heavy team comp building (Mordekaiser).

Marksmen offer the teamfight damage and, especially, the ranged tower siege/burning that NO OTHER CLASS can offer.

TLDR: ADC 2K17 meme is for delusional people. Because marksmen offer ranged tower sieging which no other class can offer, and are the only class that is mandatory in a game and cannot be replaced. GG IMAQTPIE. The whole fuckin' game resolves around them.

EDIT: To all of you picking off the post by shittalking about ziggs adc. It's one special case, a champion that was designed to have some of the abilities of a marksmen. No shit he can be played botlane occasionally.

Basically, some people like ADCs to be high damage, carry hard kind of characters. Utility ADCs are providing way more function than just simply high damage hyper carries, at the moment.

I'd rather have Varus ult in a fight than Jinx doing "tons of damage" because if she gets busted or caught out, you lose everything. Granted with the Varus nerfs, he might see less play time. Plus, as a top laner, the less I have to babysit and peel for one person to do everything is less fun and if they get caught without me nearby...well...RIP game.

The popular idea that because marksmen are "mandatory", that they cannot be weak is wrong. It simply means the threshold that must be reached to actually push them out of bot lane is far higher than that of other classes in other lanes. In other words, marksmen must be a lot weaker to be pushed out of bot lane than assassins must be to be pushed out of mid.

ADCs are weak. It's the team's job to protect them from being one-shot by any mid/jungle/top with 2+ items so they can take turrets and baron afterward. ADCs primarily exist to take objectives. That doesn't make them stronger than other champions, just more suited for completing the game objective when left alive.
