Some Nasus thought experiments

To make Nasus a bit more juggernaut-ish I've come up with two ideas, what I consider a true juggernaut is someone like Darius attacks are telegraphed, he does not go to you, you go to him with his E. A juggernaut brings the victim to the slaughter the slaughter does not go to the victim.

Not that Nasus needs changes but for fun I want to try something similar to Darius

  • Wither (now a skill shot) doesn't slow someone down anymore it tethers them to Nasus, when the tether is at max range the victim is dragged in the direction Nasus moves, enemy champions can break the tether by blocking it for long enough, how long who knows, that's what QA and testing is for.

  • Spirit Fire no longer does initial damage, only damage over time but each tick draws in tethered targets like a magnet, if Nasus stands in it, it draws them in faster and does more damage over time and extends its duration.

Nasus can put down multiple spirit fires and tethers.

When R is active his Q steals ms for the duration.

If Nasus Q's his way to a Penta, he globals: "FOR GREAT CYCLE" and their nexus blows up and lots of puppies fill the screen.

I'd imagine a small wither buff would bring him back to a good spot.

I mean, if you really want to experiment, just try lanepush nasus.

These changes could make both nasus support and AP nasus non-viable in favor of a homogenous nasus with very little build diversity.

If you want to make nasus more like a juggernaut then you need to change his passive to interact with wither. Like... Move his lifesteal onto his Q (5/10/15/20/25% of damage dealt is returned as life) and make his passive "Nasus steals movementspeed equal to the amount reduced by his slowing effects" or "nasus gains increased movement speed towards targets afflicted by his slowing effects". With this you retain nasus' build diversity as well as shift the power around to open up some paths to buffs and add a little more counterplay to him in lane.

If they increased the range of wither and help some of his itemization routes a bit he would probably be in a much better spot.
