I am not much of a book, comics, manga reader. Which is why I just watch video versions.

Although I did read the walking dead comics and now feel like the tv show is crap in comparison.

Thats why you should enjoy other mediums of the same story, often time the original have additional factors that makes it better than the adapted, and adapted may expresses something that is not possible without severely disrupting the flow of the original.

Same logic applies to something like Game of Thrones. People gone apeshit whenever they mentioned how much porn stuff they have in the series, but in the book there are even more porn.

By porn in the book, I mean food porn. Seriously, GRR Martin could write a whole menu of Mcdonalds and you'd still buy it.

From what I remember in the comic, there wasn't much more material yet for a second season (not sure if the original webcomic might have more material).

the original is only slighter further along than the version the anime was based off of. Both of which are ALMOST a season's worth of material along but the current arc isn't anywhere near resolution. with the current release pace it's impossible to judge when the arc would end short of only a month or two out.

which of course makes it impossible to figure when you can start an anime and expect to have the manga for reference drawn up to a satisfactory conclusion point.

In short; current manga has plenty of material but nothing an animator can end a series on without disappointment.

I remember playing with someone who was using a touchpad. Apparently the idea of having a mouse for online gaming was alien to them. I feel like wood is perfectly suited to them.

As far as "wood" goes, I think it needs to be some semi-precious material like the rest. Perhaps zinc would be sufficient.

I think that new accounts should be put in Bronze V by default. Upper tier bronze is too difficult for new players.

If one TRULY BELONGS in Bronze 5... they aren't going to advance out of it anyways.

Now, if they TRULY belong in Bronze 2... then yeah, those Smurfs will hold them back here or there but they WILL eventually climb to where they Truly Belong.

Of course, this is more true now with the new Queue System letting you generally get your Role, if not your Champion as well.

True enough, but that will be a Minority. Just not enough Smurfs to constantly litter the Low Elo with, unless they are Smurfing from say Gold or something.

I have a Platinum friend, in his First Placements on his Platinum Account he went 8-2, and only had one AFK/DC player over all 10 of his games.

I told him about my experience, where I went 2-8 and had LITERALLY 11 AFK/DC over my 10 Games, with only 3 'Clean Games'.

He couldn't believe it, so he makes a Smurf. He proceeds to go 4-6, but has an equally bad experience with AFK/DC as I had.

The difference in his Platinum Account Climb and his Smurf Account Climb has been insanely different... because he was negatively impacted by AFK/DC with his Smurf Account which negatively affected his MMR, which now places him with even more AFK/DC.

Now, he's simply a better player and better Carry than I am... so he IS climbing, but NOW he's had to deal with Promo Games ruined by AFK/DC, which he was fortunate enough to skip on his Main Account. He now believes in Elo Hell, under the specific conditions that I have placed on it.

Which is... you put yourself in Elo Hell either through horrid play or falling victim to Bad Internet (your own, or team mates). Which thus tanks your MMR to the point that you then constantly get paired with MMR Ranks that generally are either Trolls or Bad Internet (AFK/DC). Which thus increases the difficulty of your climb. THAT is real Elo Hell... and even that can be over come, it just takes longer and requires some ability to Carry at a Disadvantage.

The point being, unless you really tanked out early... you will generally rise to where you belong.

I sucked harshly when I started, and may well need a Fresh Account to actually climb, but I'm still working on my Champion Pool at this time so I just roll with it. So my current account still gets riddled with AFK/DC Games at a high pace... but as I've worked up I get that less and less now, to the point that once I do break through I'll be free and clear of such.

Gold, and to a lesser extent even Silver, doesn't have to deal with that as much... as Trolls won't Win enough to bother Non-Bronze Levels and AFK/DC won't Win consistently enough to Climb... so there comes a point where Trolls and AFK/DC are largely missing from your Game Play (though Feeders will still exist for a variety of reasons, like taking new Champion/Roles to improve overall while taking a hit during the transformation).

So if he belongs in BI, he'll get to BI... not enough Smurfs that will stay stuck in Bronze to hold him there. The only exception being if he was HORRID or Unfortunate when he started out, drove his MMR through the ground, and is not stuck at Disadvantages despite a vastly improved play.
