Have you ever been so mad you forgot to report offenders?

If you're suggesting there should be a mid-game report option, no, there shouldn't be. We don't need players afk'ing while they write up a report. If they forget to report after the match then it must've not been that important, and like a big piece said, it's likely someone else reported severe behavior anyway so it won't really matter if you personally weren't able to/forgot most of the time.

Now if there was an option to report players on your Recently Played list in the event the game crashed, or you did forget, or the servers went offline etc., I think that would be a much better alternative to handling the issue you seek to fix without causing in-game problems.

this is why the game wont ever improve. your forced to sit in a game thats lsot with an asshole for another 10-30 mins at least, ive had 1h 20m games with this, and this joke here will silence you to prevent any kind of traction from happening to get a movemtn to adress these tpyes of issues.

last i checked they could just put it in with the match history made available through riots own cleint and they can add a forgot to report thats only valid for x amount of time time.

you take things way way way way way to literally some people dont have working screen shot functions or record there games for the support tickets

You know the victory/defeat splash, add some honor/report buttons there instead of at the post game lobby. Sometimes I leave the lobby instantly just so I don't have to read whatever jargon some geniuses think of next.

I actually really dislike pre and post game lobby, pre is just dread that you're going to get 'that' team mate, post game everyones measuring their insecurities. Though recently I've gotten some pretty chill team mates lately, the kind that laugh off mistakes, though I'm finding more ragers in bot games, it's weird.

What about a "flag for report" marker that pops the report screen up automatically after game, even if you skip post game chat

there NEEDS to be something.. either that or riot should actually fucking punish people. I just reported a player who in the POST GAME CHAT called me some very hateful things while I was reporting them for their in game content. Nothing.

Hell, I've reported SEVERAL players over the past two weeks who have been very hateful/intentionally afk/feeding etc. and riot has not done anything with these reports. no "thank you for your report, that player has been punished" etc. NOTHING.

Hell, there's times in PRE GAME that people are VERY toxic and yet, you are FORCED to sit through it in pre game AND in game where they can and will continue to be toxic, causing yourself to get increasingly angry at them and ruining the game for you. It's kinda dumb that you have to suffer through the toxicity before you can report the player, or dodge and sit there and wait 5-20 minutes to not even DEAL with that toxic player.

I think that the most important part is that you're not fuming with rage that much so that there's no room for reason. Everyone can get frustrated, even to the point of infinite salt but if reporting a certain player is important because he legit caused a loss on purpose, then it stands to reason to not black out from rage that you quit the end game screen before finishing your business.

I make it a point to report people i want myself and not rely on someone else's goodwill. That way i'm sure i did what i could've done for everyone involved.

I believe that the option would be fine to add so long as a comment box is not added, instead just the checkbox of 'toxic, afk, blah'.

A comment box also would be workable because I doubt anyone will go into great detail in the middle of a game.

Option is not necessary, but the option can be done quite easily.

There's an easy solution to that. Make it a simple one click of a button "report this player" (in tab next to player icon) followed by a prompt AT POST GAME SCREEN for: Report choices, Report cancellation option (x), and text insertion.

This would be pretty easy to implement imho as it wouldn't require any extra coding of a report system into in-game, simply a trigger to bring up report menu on a specified clicked player upon post-game at the end of the match.

umm Seriously? how long do you think it takes to write up a single report on some usually a single report takes like what.. 10-20 seconds? to select what the offender has done. Heck you would think this would be a GREAT idea cause you can then have a TIME stamp of when the report happened instead of having to replay or re pull a entire games chat log..

I mean if some one takes longer then 30sec to 1min to write a report (ESPECIALLY with the limitations you guys put in the type field) then some thing seriously isn't right.

But I agree with the original poster. Why not have a mid game chat aside from the stupid excuse of we don't want people afking for 20 sec to write a report?

I don't know how many times I'm so frustrated from trolls that I end up just wanting the game to be over so I can just Rapidly click play again just to get out of the soon to be toxic and rage filled After game chat logs from that person.

What if there was an option to go back to the match menu via your match history and report them that way? I would imagine that would be simple enough.

Honestly, there should be an option for honoring people after the postgame screen as well. So many times I've had a great teammate/opponent that I want to honor, but I forget to do it in the post game screen because I click Play Again immediatly.

If I report someone while in game I want them to replace that person with a player in q for a game. :P

Well thank God the world doesn't revolve around you. I would hate to be thrown in games that are already in progress, on a team where the morale is already low enough that they booted one of their allies.
