What items did you have and how much did it take?

item 1402 item 3025 item 3748 item 1001

I needed both smites and I almost died doing it. I had 2 infernal dragons. No red or blue buff.

Final build was item 1402 item 3025 item 3748 item 3042 item 3111 item 3065 and Q healed for 605 about every 3 seconds.

I think the elephant in the room here is not that you killed baron with taric but that u were JG Taric?! LOL Or did you lane as support with a JG item?

I played a lot of Taric as Sup and I am a JG main... how does he work in the JG?

With the new update it works pretty well. His passive is up 100% of the time in the jungle. You can't give away any blue buffs doing it though because it drains a stupid amount of mana.

Start with item 1041 item 1004 . Potions are useless with constant Q spam.

Start Q then E

Max E

Level Q to 4 then max W. The reason for this is when you are comboing you never reach 5 stacks anyways.

Try to get tear and stalker's blade first back.

Get runic echos next for the mana sustain

Keep in mind that you are pretty squishy early game doing this.

Another thing to mention is you have to start blue. Even if you want bottom lane's help leashing you always have to start blue. You are oom before you even kill blue.

I finished it last item. The soloing baron in a real game would have a tear in the build. This was in practice tool. I have been playing him in normal games with pretty good success.

So I tried Taric JG and love it! I am still playing around with the build, but I love his auto resets with his Q for sustain. Although he has no good AoE for camps, his E is good enough and his sustain and defense makes up for it.

I love this for so many reasons...

A) Offmeta... yeah I am one of those players who doesn't buy cookie cutters to make cookies if ya know what im saying.

B) When I use to play a little support back in the day (Around the original Taric rework) he was my main. He has a lot of dust on him and Im happy to play him again.

Hydra/Tiamat and Gauntlet make up for his lack of AoE. After getting both of them, the small monsters in each camp should be dead about the same time as the large one.
