Support Talk Week 1 Pink Wards

I am attempting to start up a support group centered around helping support mains and all other support players out. I've been a support main since season two and have sometimes had questions but very few places to go to ask them, so i would like to create a community that has weekly discussions to help improve gameplay of everyone that is part of the community, or just stopping by briefly! I am only ranked plat currently but will work on finding some higher elo players to bring in their insight to future discussions!
Week one i want to focus on the pink ward. Mostly focusing on placement and a little sidenote on when to fight over a pink or not.
I personally find myself fighting over pink wards when i am blueside, i often find that redside has the advantage due to being able to pink tri brush, and i am constantly attempting to clear tri with low success. Tips i can give is always bring your adc, safety in numbers and the additional range will make it much easier for you to clear the ward safely. Ranged supports have it a bit easier but they are also a bit squishier, so stay safe dont get hooked and focus the ward.
Where to place pinks is always tough. Sometimes i find myself pinking brushes behind me or in the jungle if we are losing lane. Don't be to hasty about putting a pink out if you are being constantly pushed in, It will most likely get cleared instantly and you will be unable to contest. Redside's obvious choice would be tri brush and possibly also the river depending on how much pressure you have in lane. In my opinion the bush located in dragonside river is the most optimal place for a pink, it usually gives a good amount of information before being cleared. Also if you find yourself mid for some reason on either side of the map, the brush along the backside of red buff is also a great place for a pink. Depending on which team you are on it will give information about those entering and exiting your jungle and if they are moving on drag/baron.

as a support, and some people may scoff and scorn, but what I've noticed is that the sight radius on Shaco's JitB is enormous. They're stealth wards that bite. Because I have boxes and yellow trinket warding gank paths, I 
our jungle. It's fun to see how long the ward goes undiscovered, and how many times enemies wander into its sight. Easily get 15+ minutes out of it, and maybe even a glimpse of the enemy jungler.
