What Keystone are Pros using during LCS games

Hey all this is just a personal request and if you agree with me lets try and get this thread some popularity. While watching LCS this weekend i noticed that there is no indicator of what Keystone the players are running. While in some cases you can tell when you see a thunderlords proc or the caster points something out about the mastery, we have no other idea of what keystone is being used. With Keystones being a huge part of League right now i believe it would be a good idea for Riot to show which Keystone is being used by the players during LCS/LPL/LCK etc. Yes, we all know that a majority of champions are using Thunderlords, but with hopeful nerfing and buffing of masteries this will change and other Keystones will become very relevant.

Definitely would like a box somewhere on the match overlay telling Keystones for us viewing the pro matches

As for which keystones, it's not the 8+ Thunderlords That we saw leading up to 6.1. according to the Match Histories The trend seems to be the following:

Tanks outside of bot lane (And Fighters in Top Lane) are primarily taking Grasp of the Undying.
Junglers are the most varied, taking Thunderlord's on Elise and Kindred, Fervor of Battle on Lee Sin, and Strength of Ages on Rek'Sai.
Mage, regardless of lane are definitely taking Thunderlord's, with the biggest variation being their Tier 2 mastery in Cunning (Secret Stash vs Assassin), and their Tier 3 and 4 Ferocity Masteries.
In Bot lane, ADCs seem to universally be taking Fervor of Battle. Tanky Supports are grabbing Bond of Stone. the Mage Support types as mentioned above, are taking Thunderlord's
There are a few exceptions though. In Immortals vs Team Impulse of W1D2, Immortals' Bot lane did take some alternatives. WildTurtle took Thunderlord's on Corki and Adrian took Windspeaker's Blessing on Janna

And i believe that would be the best part of the indicator! It would help us get in the head of the pros and see how they choose what keystone depending on matchups and team comps. All in all a learning point for players! Thanks man!

Why would you take fervor or battle as Lee Sin? With Lee Sin you want to burst the enemy so Thunderlord's is quite good for him.

Well, Fervor of Battle is 2 stack per Damaging Ability hit on enemy, 2 per melee Auto. Lee Sin get's that 40% ASPD boost for two autos after using an ability. Considering, that both portions of Lee Sin's Q deals Damage, that's 4 stacks right away, 4 more from the double AA hit, and he still has an E for more damage and the Slow, and of course the R.

In other words, in about 1 or 2 seconds, Lee Sin will have the Max 8 stacks when he comes to gank the enemy. And of course his ability to pull off twitch reflex jukes with W, Re-engage with Q again since you have a 6 second window to hit an enemy champion again.

TL:DR version: Lee Sin get's it for the same reason someone like Master Yi does, Quick and Easy max stacks.

I agree that it would be nice to see them during the game but if you are curious you can currently check them out after the game by going to the "esports" page and clicking on the game you want to see for example http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/na-lcs/na_2016_spring/matches/regular_season/TSM-vs-CLG

Then you go to the "view player builds and stats" which brings you to a page like you would see in your own match history http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/TRLH1/1001520070?gameHash=e5a089b1818d40b0&tab=overview

From there you can click "player builds" and select each champion to see what masteries they had that game.

Thanks that is super helpful! But how promoted is that on the stream and websites etc? Just trying to make life a bit easier for the players :D. While builds/build paths are somewhat easy to follow if you watch the game, so now with this somewhat huge component of the new season i feel like it is something they should highlight! Thanks a bunch though!

It's actually really hidden for how important it is and I don't even know where to find the ~~LCK/LPL equivalent but I'm sure someone out there does. ~~ Edit: did a little bit of clicking around the esports site and they are in a similar location I just didn't see the menu right away.

Totally agree. Just in my personal opinion i believe that the Keystone Mastery is a big focus point for Riot during season 6. So it should be promoted/shown during game. They don't promote where to go to check builds/masteries/runes after games etc. While i'm quite aware a lot of people go do know how to go check it this is more for convenience and those unable.

Again i know this isn't really for everybody. Just like ive stated previously about the websites that show build paths masteries etc, this is something that is not very well known/promoted so it would just make it a bit easier for the players watching. Thanks you for the input!

Probably Thunderlords. That needs to removed or reworked, It's just too good. Riot should adress it soon if they really believe in diversity

I agree, while i dont think that it needs to be removed there just needs to be a balance between the other Keystones. They either need to make thunderlords worse or make other Keystones to good to pass up!

I think it needs less damage per level, but a tiny bit more scaling. The base damage on thunderlords is absurd.

I mean its not for everyone of course some people don't really care, this is just to help those who are interested. Like i've said a ton of times previously the Keystone seems to be a huge point for Riot, and to me it seems that some people have trouble with masteries this would help them out. Thanks for the input though!

It does seem like a very good Keystone for what they were doing. I mean top lane is mostly an island and some of the things Huni did with Fiora + the life gain on the keystone and vitals was insane.

I think it was the wording of my title, I didn't mention e-sports, I said spectating mode which might not have made a connection to the fact it is the same thing
