If I'm later in the pick, I'll just say "I can support Bard too if I don't get X." Half the time someone says "No, it's ok. I'll support, you go X." It works better than taking Clarity/Revive used to.

Sion needs his food to get tanky, so support is only good for so long.

well ye. Still, I got 450+ HP from 61 creeps and 3 kills and 7 assists. At the end of the game I got over 4k health and AR/MR 120+.

Of course Jungle/Top sion is stronger, but as nontraditional, fun support Sion is great.

I dunno if Jungle Sion is all that great. There are just so many better choices. Top Sion is god though.

He is actually not much great in Jungle because he is pretty much Ulti dependant and we all know how easy is to land that ultimate.

Later in the game you can still clear waves if no one else will reset a lane, getting you more stacks. Also, if you are actually getting assists that is 10 health per assist. Which in turn got me over 200 health from assists alone in one game.

I don't mind people picking for a kill lane but if you say you're going to support, then don't take CS, buy the proper gold income items and buy your share of wards + trinket @9. It's not too much to ask.

Sion support can clear waves easily because he builds full tank 90% as a top laner anyways. He can definitely get himself some farm and can also function as a bit of an anti-siege support

Besides, Sion gets HP with more assists as well. Yes Sion's much stronger in top lane or the jungle, but as a non-traditional support, Sion is a beast, he crushes popular soloQ supports like Thresh, Leona, and Blitzcrank and can 1v1 most of the meta ADC's as well in the early-mid game. Even if he dies, he can throw on shields on his teammates as he beats the enemy down in his passive

The only flaw of Sion support is the same issue with all soloq supports...people get cocky when they're ahead, they throw games, and then blame it on the support, especially when the support is a non-traditional one.

I mean I give a Jinx 6 kills in lane, then she goes 6/12 and blames me because I didn't feed her enough in lane...lol...

I've been known to volunteer Yorick support from time to time. Yorick I may be a bit evil....but only with the obviously toxic adc mains though. I don't usually mind supporting, but sometimes, you just want to grab Ez's gauntlet and blast the adc main's face off.

Really i just pick a mage with good poke and/or good cc (velkoz being my favorite personally) then support as far as getting a sightstone warding and not taking cs. So even if my adc sucks im not 100% reliant on them to win.i can also secure kills prettt well with my ult once i hit 6

People forgot how much they hated playing with Poppy I remember getting plenty of "gg poppy" in champ select. Now she's getting reworked because she's too strong. heh
