How in the HELL do i lane against fizz as yasuo???

Ive done it many times but i only seem to be able to win lane if i snowball off of an early kill. Even then once he gets enough items his kit just mkes my insides churn as a yasuo player.

Fizz is one of Yas' hardest counters. Its kind of like playing into a Riven as anything. When her stuff is on CD you punish them. As soon as you see fizz use that troll pole all in him then and there. If you can manage to avoid being hit by the troll pole and you rinse and repeat this process you can do just fine. Always wait on your passive shield to come back up before trading with him, after fizz gets a bamis (if hes smart, if hes dumb he won't go tanky fizz into yas despite that basically being an auto win lane for fizz) it will be really hard to trade and you'll want to be more passive and wave clear.

Try to let the fizz push if at all possible. You set up in the middle of your minions and throw a q at him to bait him to troll pole onto you, if you then dash using one of the enemy minions out of the troll pole area fizz will damage all these minions and cause the lane to push which opens him up to being ganked. If you can put to use the previous paragraphs tip and all in him after this then you're gonna be doing about the best you can do vs fizz. Tanky yas build is more trouble for fizz than standard crit build. You only have one ability you can wind wall and its the ult, if the fizz is sharp he will wait til you are under half hp before qing to you and animation canceling his ult during the q dash, be ready for this and windwall right on top of yourself to stop it. Post 6 if fizz troll pole is down and he missed his ult hes dead. All in him immediately.

Bami's is the single most effective counter item to yasuo because dashing around in range of its passive removes his passive shield. Almost every melee champ can rush it bs yas and auto win the lane.

fizz can use his playful trickster to dodge yasou knock up... he can ult yasou though his windwall , fizz has burst and builds item 3157 forcing yasou to build mr vs him as well.

I often forget about Fizz 's passive.

Fizz's dexterity allows him to move through units and take less physical damage from basic attacks.

Pretty sure wind wall stops Fizz ult. It doesnt disappear but it stops the fish from flying further. Still a pretty easy matchup tho if you dont die at level 2.

Unless the Fizz is afk you are going to lose really no matter what you do. Just hug your turret for the entire laning phase and maybe rush a hexdrinker after Static or PD.

What tends to have worked best against me was the standard zeal rush into PD into FM. No matter what style of fizz I'm playing at that point yas gained the advantage, whether I was tanky triforce or standard AP. At two items apiece yas actually trumps fizz and outscales him as the game progresses from there. The problem for most yasuo's I was facing was that I was up an item already on them by the time they hit FM+PD. I don't think you need to hug turret since yas has a significant advantage at levels 1 and 2, I feel like you should be pretty aggressive as yas in the first 3 waves and then start playing back. You can easily cheese kill a lvl 2 fizz who mistimes his troll pole and winds up out of position. I certainly died to enough level 2 yas cheese to know that I wasn't trying to trade too much with him until I had all three abilities.

But the temptation to just drink a cup of bleach rather than play yas into fizz is certainly strong.
