How to tilt your jungler, sincerely a jungle main.

it be lìke that··153 votes·8,999 views

Shove up to the enemy turret whenever you are in lane, miss all the cs, don't ward, get ganked 1v2 and say "I love how x gets ganks but i can't" The jungler will naturally respond with "Back up and i can come up there, im not turret diving at level 6 (assuming he isnt a tank)"

Then completely ignore what he said, do the EXACT same thing, die and say "gg shit jungler we lose"

my blood is boiling hotter than the 7th circle of hell atm. :^)

and thats the story of how i failed my promos! ^_^

Agree with you completely. However, if one of your lanes is pushed up its possible to perform a lane gank by moving into the lane bushes and then ganking when the lane resets.

Also, if your laners are being stupid like that you can also hover around that side of the map and counter gank if the enemy jungler ganks.

Finally, if two adjacent lanes are pushed up that gives you a relatively safe invade. If the enemy jungler is there your lanes can rotate faster since they have lane priority while the opposing team will lose experience and cs if they rotate.

You can't fix stupid teammates but you can at least minimize the damage they inflict on your win rate.

I personally hate lane ganks unless I can be 100% sure that a kill will come out of it. It's so goddamn time intensive.

Toxic Main Riven1 votes

You can't lane gank under turret

Randomonium3 votes

You wait for the wave to bounce. It's a common tactic at high elo. If it doesn't make sense to you I recommend checking out some high elo junglers like Valkrin, Nightblue, IWDominate or one of the pro junglers.

Zac ?

Lane ganks generally assume that your ally stops shoving the wave under the tower. If the enemy laner never actually has to leave their tower, you'd end up having to dive them anyways.

Sadly, many players don't know how to or lack the patience to freeze the wave in a favourable position.

Randomonium4 votes

Most ganks assume your allies aren't complete idiots.

In no way shape or form am i "waiting" in a bush for an opportunity to gank, what happens if i sit there for 3 mins and no opportunity arises? I have now wasted time and have fallen behind.

You want a gank, prep for it, get them into a favorable position for me and we can get a kill. I wil not dive the turret, do all the damage, take the turret shots just to POSSIBLY get the kill.

This almost always results in wasted time.

The second half is something else entirely, keep in mind, this is level 6 non tank jungle (in this case) without some superb coordination unobtainable in low elo pugs, that gank turns into a fed enemy laner 0-100 Lucian real quick. (get it? im proud of that tbh)

Randomonium23 votes

You don't wait for 3 minutes. You move into position, wait 5-10 seconds for the wave to bounce, and if there isn't a good gank opportunity recall. High elo junglers do it all the time. It's surprisingly effective since people aren't expecting you to jump out of a lane bush.

Poske9 votes

Keep in mind we do that when entire jungle is cleared and there is nothing else to do

Spaceman5pff1 votes

The only champs I find I can effectively lane gank with in soloQ are Zac Amumu and Gragas i guess even though i don't play him anymore after the balance team took a nice, steamy poop on him. Everybody else just doesn't have the "fuck you you are getting ganked now" power.

Sinlaire2 votes

Vi Dive in with Q. after 6 if they run Press R and sit them down again. R has no tether range and only breaks on like a handful of special circumstances. such as leblanc passive popping, shaco stealth, and teleport.

Twitch and rengar entering stealth will still get caught but it bugs and sometimes lets them keep the stealth after getting picked. Still a very strong jungler for burst and dives for ganks.

Spaceman5pff2 votes

I forgot about Vi.

maikokk2 votes

r actually does have a leash range but its like half the maps distance, so its not really relevant unless the enemy champ can move much faster than your ult cast Rammus Hecarim

Sinlaire2 votes

it is occasionally. I point it out because i've used it to catch and kill double distortion leblancs, flash blink ezreals, and flash leaps Kha'zic before. It's an excellent means for tracking down low health enemy regardless of how they flash walls or use various leaps or dashes to try and run.

it can kill you if they use it to track you into their team, but it secures a lot of kills when it almost never breaks.

crippler381 votes

now have you tried shaco? his ganks are amazing he can be built pretty tanky while doing good damage thanks to how well he scales with damage and his splitpush is great, on top of that he has strong objective control plus the ability to build full damage and oneshot pretty much anyone in the game that you'd want to oneshot.

Spaceman5pff2 votes

Right but the junglers I mentioned were specifically in reference to LANE ganking. I am away many junglers can gank well, but I was listing off champions for a specific scenario. Shaco doesn't offer the amount of instant hard cc that I would want for being as close to their turret as you often are in a lane gank

SoryInAdvance2 votes

thats why you use wards dude.

this guy is offering a REALLY good strategy for you to try and he obviously knows what he's talking about but you shoot him down immediately and respond with a snarky attitude. Hmph~[slayer-jinx-unamused]

The best way to tilt your jungler is to help him with his leash and keep the wave under your turret. They will be so confused about what's happening that they tilt so hard.

On a more serious note, it's a mentality that needs to die. You push the lane when you want to b, or whatever the adc is thinking. Not push the lane and then expect some sort of miraculous gank. It is going to happen, but from the other perspective.

I'm a support main but I can relate (Especially when they push so fast that they don't even let you proc your targons -.-)

GayFluffyUnicorn2 votes

Eh wrong. You push the wave against any enemy with poor waveclear who either drops half his health if he tries to freeze or lose lots of CS and gets dmg on his tower. Non-Stop pushing against a malphite, nasus, maokai is golden in the early levels. On bot the same against jhin, vayne. Just need to ward properly.

pandaleon1 votes

but you also have to realized to let the wave bounce off every 3-6 waves when your ward pool is low or you mana starts to depleat. farm with autos and let the wave build up and your charges restock under your turret for 2-3 waves. push for 3-6 more waves repeat.

also zone em while they are low and you have the wave frozen under turret.

GayFluffyUnicorn1 votes

yup thats true

Auz the Ripper1 votes

Nonstop pushing against a Nasus is usually more counterproductive if his player is good because it lets him farm his Q without having to trade or be ganked. Missing a little CS is worth free stacks to most Nasi

GayFluffyUnicorn1 votes

I said in the early levels. He will maximum get two Qs under the tower until he gets some CDR and levels in his Q. If you just lasthit and freeze the lane in the middle he can wait for his Q to come up all the time.

Maximum Morde5 votes

Bitch u get yo ass over here and tower dive that shit or I'm running up mid. - Every Vayne/Yasuo/Riven main.

Repliforce5 votes

Yeah, what gets me riled up to no bitter end, is when any lane complains about lack of ganks. Especially when they're dying and they make really stupid comments like the ones you've mentioned. I mean, if you overextend, I'm ignoring your lane. I'm not turret diving unless mid decides to go in, too. I've lost a lot of trust in people trying to turret dive low levels because nobody would follow up, and then to have any lane blame me if I die? Often comments like "wtf you come in our lane just to die" after having been asked to gank, gets pretty annoying after all.

Auroramancer4 votes

get ganked 1v2 and say "I love how x gets ganks but i can't"

Have been tower dove by enemy laner and their jungler after being ganked (but not killed) 2-3 times prior, and my jungler STILL won't give me any love to help me out.

The jungler will naturally respond with "Back up and i can come up there, im not turret diving at level 6 (assuming he isnt a tank)"

Have had LOTS of enemy non-tank junglers tower dive at level 5.

In my last 250-ish games, I have NEVER had a jungler say "back up so i can gank for you". It's usually "stfu" or "noob <x> lane", etc. in response to "can i get a gank up here? enemy jungler been here 4 times already"

Plus, you can STILL gank when your laner has pushed up to tower. Ever heard of a lane gank? Sit in lane bush and wait for enemy laner to "overextend" toward the bush you are in or for the enemy jungler to show up and surprise countergank.

It's never terribly hard to gank for your laners, unless they don't follow up with you

it be lìke that3 votes

its completely situational, hp/champ/utility you have available, but to simply request a turret dive out of nowhere, (from vi jungle level 6) onto a full hp enemy is simply absurd. Im not Gragas or leesin.

GayFluffyUnicorn2 votes

Don't try to reason on any circlejerk post. Doesn't matter which one. Especially don't dare to critizise support/junglers. They are never at fault and only have stupid laners/adcs :^)

BIAKaboose4 votes

Nah, support/jungle main here, I screw up pretty much constantly, but I'm not going to take crap off of anybody when it isn't actually my fault. If my carry slide tackles 3 people under the enemy tower by flashing in + a mobility skill and gets chained stunned? Yeah, they're an idiot, but I have so often that I apologize to my ADC as Braum for having my wall barely at the wrong angle and letting a skillshot/auto past for a kill. Everybody screws up, you can call me out on it if you want, but I'll throw shade right back.

Treat people how you want to be treated, if you're going to call me out on every little mistake be prepared to have the same thing done to you. I'd rather praise my team for the good they do, but I won't go out of my way to be nice to a team who does nothing but complain about everything.

MissMikasa3 votes

Well that is one thing that gets me tilting but the worst offender- when the enemy jungler counterjungles me, steals all my buffs and junk, then also will just constantly try to kill me whenever I try to farm something they haven't stolen yet. Grrrrr that's one of the things that makes me hate jungling but when I have good games where they don't do that I have fun with it so :/

it be lìke that3 votes

thats part of jungling, see the enemy jungler going for a gank? take his shit.

I play a lot of Evelynn if you dont know to start your red/blue you are gonna have a bad time, i will 100% firstblood you or get your summs then your camps.

MissMikasa3 votes

Honestly, that's not part of jungling in my opinion. That's just being a dick jungler. What is wrong with just sticking to your own damn shit, and getting kills by ganking and teamfighting? It honestly pisses me off that people do it.

it be lìke that20 votes

you deny gold/xp to the other jungler? that is like 33% of jungling. 33% farming your jungle. 33% ganks. 33% farming opponents jungle if he goes for ganks.

If you have no camps up, your opponent is bot lane ganking and you know he hasnt been top in awhile, go collect the fruits.

Simple.

I'd add another category in, taking objectives.

Farming jungle is a safe way to get yourself ahead, counterjungling is a risky way to get yourself ahead and put your enemy jungler behind, ganks are a semi-risky way to get a specific laner/duo lane ahead and the enemy laner(s) behind, and objectives are a risky way to get your team slightly ahead.

Yup. I honestly used to be like that. Then I started playing jungle a lot and realized that hey, it's just stupid to gank those people, you'll likely just wind up diving the turret and getting 2v1'd.

This is fair. Well played.

MunchCrunchLunch2 votes

I have a better one.

Don't look at the map. don't listen to your jungler saying that they will gank so prepare to engage. don't listen to any of that. go and sit behind your turret. let me engage and die to the enemy. or let the enemy get away because they saw me and our cc support or adc didn't initiate a fight.

lol. this is. much worse than what you said. i literally. mute anyone that does that and never gank again. waste of time.

it be lìke that2 votes

if im a melee assassin i simply wont engage on the fight unless they are low, i ping it and sit until they engage.

I had a riven get pissed off at me because i wouldnt engage on renekton as evelynn, was like "nope sweetie, you are the bruiser here." she got tilted then fed intentionally. :^)

Teslyn2 votes

i agree most junglers are mid to low tier and they dont track the other jungler so they are as clueless as their laners what is going to happen next. with that said, laners need to be nicer to random junglers than just expect them all to be top tier.

WolfChases2 votes

The only thing that tilts me as a Jungle main is when my bot lane is butchered, when my ADC is 40 CS down and has 3 deaths and Enemy takes Drake and than my BOT says "Omg you stupid fuck we don't have drake" - "/all Report our jungler please no skill"

Dear Bot lane bots, it's not easy for a jungler to take a Drake when enemy Lucian is 5/0/1 and 2 levels ahead of you and when his support have 2 finished items and their jungler is nearby.

CheftoniFTW2 votes

Take my feels, friend.

Oh Look Kaede1 votes

I'm a Jungle main as well and what tilts me is when the enemy jungled camps a lane and my team keeps spamming asking for help. Than when I do try, they are so behind because they don't turtle that they die when I gank.
