##Reasoning behind using Resolve Tree

Aftershock provides you a lot of Armor and Magic Resistance as well as some damage when you dive the enemy team. It increases your chances of surviving and provides more help in team-fights since the damage from it is AoE where as Electrocute is a single target Rune.

Bone Plating ensures that you will survive the early game a lot easier, and Chrysalis provides some portion of AD since you are given +50 Health from it alone. Overgrowth also is really good, while it does not increase health, it increases his AD instead due to how his passive works.

##Reasoning with the choices in the Domination Tree

Sudden impact is great choice because Pyke's W, E and R (when cast on enemies) triggers it, which grants you a bonus OOPH to your damage. Picking Ingenious Hunter is really important because of the build that you're going to see soon.

##Build

Early Game: item 3302 item 2003 item 2003 item 2003 = 500g required

On first back: item 3097 item 1001 item 2055 item 3364 = 875g required

Essentials: item 3800 item 3142 item 3009 = total 6,450g

Final Build: item 3401 item 3800 item 3142 item 3071 item 3009 = total 11,250g

1 to choose as last item: item 3143 item 3050 item 3026

The idea behind having such items, is to get as much Active based items as possible due to the rune Ingenious Hunter which reduces the cooldown of Active based items by 15% + 25% (at max bounty stacks) making it a total of 40%. Additionally using these 2 items together (Youmuus Ghostblade, Righteous Glory) in synergy with Pyke's W grants him a lot of Movement Speed, makes his engages even better, and can create a lot of pressure for the enemy team.

The combo of using this combo:

  • Righteous Glory > Youmuus Ghostblade > Pyke W

If not done in this specific order, Pyke's W can be canceled.

##Thank you for those who chose to read my mini guide, I wish you good luck in the fields of Summoner Rift.

This is the core build I've been having the most fun with for Pyke.

item 3153item 3047item 3401item 3107

item 3153 is literally the best damage item to improve his tankiness against physical damage in the bot lane. Plus having an extra 3 second slow and 3 second MS boost is very nice for both escaping and chasing. Besides, for a support that's supposed to build AD, Pyke's Bonus AD ratios are kinda mediocre (Just +60% Bonus AD on his Q and Ult, +80% Bonus AD on his E). I've found that in most cases, the on-hit + active damage from BoRK gets the target down to that precious Ult threshold faster than a Youmuu's does.

item 3047item 3111 Obviously, Ninja Tabi if the enemy team has a lot of Physical Damage, Mercury's Treads if they have a lot of Magic Damage or CC.

item 3401item 3107 because unlike other Pyke players, I don't try to forget that I am still a support. I need the wards from Remnant of the Aspect, and Redemption's heal is just so incredibly influential in turning fights around that it's too good to forgo on the team.

After those 4 core items, what I build next depends on the state of the game. I generally focus on damage items that would help me survive.

Some good items are: item 3026item 3156item 3139item 3812item 3046

If the enemy ADC is massively ahead, I build: item 3143item 3075 for the armor and the passives.

If the enemy APC is massively ahead, I build: item 3194item 3156 for MR and the passives.

This is pretty much a Mobafire copy/paste on an account which barely even plays.

While the advice is generally "sort of" solid, It's not actually the best build and over time people will discover that. It's about the second best build path, and has obvious counters when playing it. You really feel when you're countered on this build.

Right...

I definitely took all the time to structure the post well for it to be a "Mobafire copy/paster", that definitely makes sense. I wasn't aware that people were still using that website for starters, I also just looked at other build guides on there and none of them had Righteous Glory as the rush item or as an item in their build in general, nor did any of the guides use the rune Ingenious Hunter. So you tell me how I copied Mobafire lol?

Additionally i'm not saying that these are the items to rush every game, since you will need to build some optional items against rougher match-ups.
