another 40 minute game where i had to endure a ranged champ poking me for free over and over with no punishment while my autofilled adc challenger jg gets executed and loses all drag control and even gets 2 of them stolen going 3-9 suiciding nonstop

another 40 minute game where im busting my ass off trying to play for 2 people as my jungle is brain dead while my ryze awaits the 40 minute mark so he can suicide and just lose us the game right there and then.

I said it jokingly; what I mean by it is high skill games don't last that long. They usually know how to close a game with the advantages they earn in the first 5-15 mins.

In hard losses they do in fact open mid (when the game is like 3-10) it really isn't that uncommon.
