ADC Thresh Match History

Thresh is my best ADC champion, but I get flamed a lot in Champion Selection for my choice. This is my most recent Match History.

I have 3 defeats. My last game was lost, but Braum and myself dominated our lane versus Ashe and Taric. Mid fell quick and the game snowballed from there. It happens. Honor Braum for GG and being a great support.

The other 2 defeats are quite unnecessary. I pretty much lost these games because my supports went out of their way to avoid helping me. Determined to prove Thresh isn't an ADC these supports did everything possible to set up plays and quickly abandon me, or remain present in lane without offering help. And in both games these supports were busy /all chatting about my champion choice and flaming me for picking Thresh. Of course- the enemy team in both games joined in on the fun of griefing my decision. In both games the enemy ADC (blinded by ego presumably) went along with the idea that I lost lane due to my champion selection.

I want to make this post to let the community know that Thresh is a viable ADC- but like ANY ADC he does need good support!! When I go Thresh my first death sometimes results in massive flaming. If I go Ashe, I can die 3 times in a row without hearing a peep. I want people to remove their pre-conceived notions about ADC Thresh not being a "meta" pick, or "breaking meta" and therefore is a bad choice. That's simply not true.

If you want to think Thresh can't ADC I beg of you to look into his kit- and compare it to that of your other ADCs. And just like any ADC there will of course be champions that can harass him. Caitlyn has a lot of range for example as does Jhin and they pose a slight problem. Draven is a monster as it is- and any ADC can find themselves struggling to survive his pokes. That being said: consider how you would judge any other ADCs performance before analyzing Thresh as an ADC. And if someone dies playing a champion YOU don't like- just think about how you would handle the same situation if they had picked a champion you DO approve of.

In these 10 games alone my ADC Thresh has a KDA of 60:17. That's slightly over a 3.5 : 1 ratio. And if I omit the "troll" games and count the 8 where my team didn't go out of their way to see me fail: 53: 8 KDA or 6.625 : 1
