maybe bring back trundle/sejuani breaking his ult walls?
dont allow him to e+q flash and have the knock up land (kind of how shen does that thing)
lower his % armor pen (currently something like 26%)
dont remove all the armor
and if you really really really just have to nerf jarvan before you nerf lee sin or vi we could at least give a compensation buff to his fairly weak shield

I care because why should an ability the provides a shitton of mobility when used right also provide armor? That's just unbalanced. Skarner has a defensive steroid in his kit, but it doesn't do anything but give him defensive stats. Leona has a defensive steroid in her kit, but the only thing else it does is minimal damage

The first was to make his E Q combo not work making his early ganks a joke and in part kill his identity.
The second was to make him have a harder time surviving in the jungle.
With the removal of the extra armor Riot is picking the second one which will make J4 have to likely back earlier and perhaps take 2 levels in his shield early to survive early on.
Remember J4 has a shield still and the flag will likely become a one and done ability for the most part after this. Aka max Q then W or 2 levels of W then max Q somewhat like diana will often do in jungle.
