Feet Are Strange: Nami should have a passive like Cass

Nami's current passive, Surging Tides makes her abilities increase the Movement Speed of allies caught in the effect. Cassiopeia's passive Serpentine Grace prohibits her from purchasing boots items, and increases her Movement Speed by levelling.

I think Nami should also have this affect in her passive: keeping the current Surging Tides effect and adding the "no boots" mechanic. This might make Cassiopeia's passive seem weak by comparison, if you just add a Cass passive to Nami's passive then it definitely creates unfairness. So I also think that Serpentine Grace should get something extra as well. Now, I'm not a Cass player, so I have no idea what would be fair- but I was thinking something along the lines of: "all damage dealt by Cassiopeia afflicts minor poison damage that damages enemies over time"

What are your thoughts?

They could just give Nami increased movement speed through the river, makes sense to me.

I always thought her Ultimate should have longer range if cast in river.

these threads are a new level of stupid. NAMI WILL NEVER HAVE A PASSIVE LIKE CASS GET IT IN YOUR HEADS. SHE WILL BUY BOOTS. SHE WILL BUY BOOTS. GET IT IN YOUR HEADS.

Make it so she can only give allies the MS, like it says or make the duration 1 second then add in the Cassio passive.

idk why this was downvoted. Nami doesn't have feet. Which is the same reason Cass can't purchase boots... People are just full of spite I guess.

Why don't they just make it something like a scarf, and have the upgrades treated as an Enchantment instead of a new item?
