Why is Azir's ult unflashable?

Mega Annie X··4 votes·874 views

I find it odd that the most broken ult in the game has an EXTRA mechanic to make it completely uncounterable.

Ever fought a kite comp with azir? All the initiation in the world wont matter. his ult will peel EVEN ULTS. Nothing goes through the cheese wall even though the push back alone is ult worthy.

This champ is pure cancer. His ult is 10x better then Janna's at peeling.

They literally say and show that his ult can be flashed over and some ults can go through it.

It is flashable, but you have to stand next to the wall to flash over it. If your flash spawns you inside the wall, it will just push you back instead of spawning you at the closest side (which would often be the other side). I find this a very dirty mechanic and therefore I ban Azir 100% of the games when I'm captain.

Kassadin This guy is literally Azir's BIGGEST counter. I played vs fk tons of Azir's as Kass and I'm still unbeaten, played Azir the other day and got countered by a Kassadin, guess what happened? I got my face mashed.

Kass isn't as good of a matchup since they nerfed his ult range because he has to premeditate his intent to jump on you a lot harder so you can kite backwards.

Lel, you're kidding right? You can still jump over medium walls without going right near them. Same applies to Azir's ult.

You can still jump over walls and his ult but you cannot realistically land the actual ult on top of Azir and if you are out-trading Azir without ulting directly on top of him then the Azir is probably a potato on a keyboard

Kassadin's ult does little to no damage, 120 base at max rank + 6% maximum mana, which is pretty crappy. Max I've ever done on a fully stacked Kass ult is 550, bannana's to what it use to do. You don't need to land directly on top of them, R, E, Q, W. E first because chances are it's already stacked, and if you waste Q first, you are missing out on a free stack for E.

His entire kit has low base damage so if you're not using all of it then you're playing him wrong.

But only one part of his Kit has low scaling along with probably the lowest base damage AOE ability in the game, so suck on that. Everyone know's Kassadin's ult is a mobility spell before damage.

This is purely a problem in the early game; you will not kill something at level 16 with or without your ult. If you are missing out on the potential ~100 to ~150 extra damage on your target then it can mean the difference between living and dying. Try using his ult more strategically and maybe you wouldn't have 100 games with him in gold 5

-sigh-

His ult is countered by blinks, unstoppable forces, and spells such as Fizz's Troll pool which renders him untargetable. And no, Janna is way better at peeling because Azir's only peel is his ult, Janna has an AOE knockback, a massive shield, an AOE skillshot knockup, and a crippling point and click slow.
