Who Thought the Blessing of Caitlyn Was a Good Idea?

So far, I've been loving Nexus Blitz. I don't really like some of the events and the rewards, and the randomness is annoying, but it's nice a short paced and since it's guaranteed to end by 20 minutes, it means that I don't have to dedicate a ton of time to it. However, there is one thing that is complete garbage about this mode.

BLESSING OF CAITLYN

Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? I was playing Vladimir, the enemy team had super minions and the blessing. I had 124 armor and about 2500 health. A single shot from the Blessing of Caitlyn did 1100 damage. With 124 armor. If you do some math, that comes out to about 2464 damage against a target with 0 armor. As Vladimir, a champion that gets a ton of health without building much from items, the base damage would be enough to nearly if not completely one shot me counting out armor. Now, against someone who didn't build Zhonyas like I did and that had much less health, how is this fair? Unavoidable, constant attacks that can one shot you if you don't build any health or armor. Please remove this horribly unbalanced reward.

I still find it to be a funny idea.

Then again I don't take Nexus Blitz that seriously.

Yeah I just played this, the Cait minions was fun for a minute, but it should definitely expire.

I got 2 shotted by the cait buff one time, we lost our first turret bot lane, and mid lane, so 2 waves crashed into a turret, and 2 cait minions targeted me and i died v.v

The mode is so fun but needs some work. Like how events favor the losing team, that's some bullshit. Because they legit have turned an entire match around single handedly with that one event loss due to the gold income they got from bounties and the buff from the event, like the GA event or the Janna shield event.

Bardle royale should NOT spawn in a base, same with king of the hill, it should not be in a base under 2 turrets.

Simple fixes.

I actually love it. It's hilarious and I really don't think we should be striving for perfect balance in this super fun wacky game mode.

If anything, I'd like more things like it. Currently a lot of things in it are somewhat stale. Some events are too tame and don't bring much to the table (snowball fight in particular) and same for the rewards (MEGA OCEAN DRAKE O BOI).

Also it seems a ton of people aren't aware of this, but Caitlyn minions only fire when a champion has been damaged by another champion. They don't just run around killing people on their own.

I once lost my entire health bar to two shots, and the death counts as being killed by someone and not even execute to top it off. In death recap it said Camille did all that damage even though they hadn't hit me, I simply had some hp missing for a while and eventually got targeted.

I still think sudden death is even more lame because if you sit there and take out all their towers and just have the nexus to deal with and have your two towers left and just have your nexus up and walk it's like wtf.

There is no way a caitlyn ult did 1100 damage to you if you had 124 armor. That's simply impossible.
