Riot: Champion Masteries -Clarity needed

Hi Riot, in the interest of transparency and clarity can you release the details on how the grading system works for champion mastery. Surely detailing the axis around which a person can become better with their champion is a lot better than trying to obfuscate it?

Knowledge is power, let people know how they can be more than they currently are and let's see how they improve.
