IBG changes on PBE

Riot: Rather than nerf IBG for all champs except Ezreal, can you perhaps consider changing the current strategy on its usage to the following: Split the passive. - Spellblade (unique passive) - leave it at 125% base AD, remove the icy zone component. - Icy zone (unique passive, melee only) - on spell cast, slow for 2 sec's blah blah blah.

This still allows champs to utilise IBG as an armour, mana, cdr item with a spellblade passive. It removes the less than desirable 'Blue Ez' build from wrecking every champ he goes against by having the Icy Zone passive melee only so those champs who have to work to get in range can use it while those that are ranged cannot use it.

You could rename the Icy Zone passive to the same name as FroMal's so its one or the other, not both.

Problem solved.

We believe IBG's out of line in solo lanes on melee champions who, with some exceptions, are expected and intended to be its core users. We're nerfing it in general as a result.

I'm pretty sure they're nerfing it due to its strength and popularity on top laners. Many of them are just building Sunfire Cape and Iceborn Gauntlet.

For once, it's probably not due to Ezreal.

They're not nerfing it because of Ezreal.

They're nerfing it because melee champions are spamming it top lane because it's overpowered.

Ezreal? Fuck Ezreal. Try Nautilus, Ekko, and Poppy.

Not ashamed to admit when I am wrong. IBG changed because of melee champs.. Who would have thought.

I think it'd be cool if intead of the base ad spellblade damage nerf, the cooldown was nerfed to 15% Never understood why Riot wanted to remove the 5 and 15 % cdr items.
