Is it actually possible to dodge Zed's shurikens?
I understand that it's possible for the Zed to miss.
But is it actually possible for you to dodge them yourself?

Not at a range smaller than 600. Assuming that you react only after you see the shuriken and you are running in a straight line away from Zed.
Aside from that, shurikens aren't exceptionally hard to dodge.

Depends on how far away you are.
No skill shots can be dodged at ~175 or less range, since that is roughly how big they are from the center of one champion model to another. However, if you hover around the max range of his skill shot, around 400, you can easily side step or even out run them unless you were creep blocked.
Of course latency is also a factor here, but ultimately, a squishy ranged champion can dodge them if they stay at range, and a melee champion cannot but can probably out damage Zed anyways.

Simple. Don't look for the shuriken and decide to dodge then. Look for the animation that Zed makes just as he casts the shuriken and dodge. You know he is going to throw it at you so it doesn't matter what direction you go in for the most part and then makes the guessing game something that Zed has to do and not you.
To be clear, that animation is him reaching both hands up and around to his back. It's a pretty noticeable one in comparison to other skills.
No. He can only miss. Just like Morgana can only miss or blitz can only miss.
Technically you could flash away or something, but he can only miss.
