Why is Riot giving us a 20 page essay on their assassin rework

rather than just listing the changes. And why will Riot suddenly stop "communicating" entirely when the rework comes out and at least half of them fail to achieve any of their stated goals.

The Dev corner posts are a regular thing for large scale reworks, it happened during the mage update.

I know riot enjoys masturbation, I'm asking why they keep doing it.

They don't have a change list because there are still significant modifications being made. These posts are a way of giving us information about what will happen before changes are finalized. We're not getting this instead of a change list; we're getting this instead of nothing at all. This gives us some early insight and gives us an early opportunity to provide feedback.

The Ryze rework was a massive fail lol. He's like no different and to this day you still see people completely mess up his new ult.

That is because......and like i said when it came out and i still believe to this day, the ryze ult was completely their way to try to subliminally promote the "team" play that they are trying to push. yes it is a team game but they are trying to push people into needing to use voice chat. The changes to him was uneeded....he was already a popular pick on the Pro level and he gets changed too often. There are many other champs that havn't been touched in years that are in more need of changes.

People fail with his ult because they try to do what they seen done in all the videos that came out when he was just on PBE.......but most of those videos were people playing around in custom games letting the other team pull the stuff off. Or games with people in voice chat.

You cant pull that stuff off just using regular pings and game chat. because by the time people realize what you are pinging and see what you are saying in the chat and react to it....the window of opportunity is gone.

So because of that the majority of the time i see his ult is actually used its him using it solo to escape.

So they will continue to fail to initiate the aspect of a purely team-based gameplay until Voice Chat is a functioning system within the game itself. That it is not, the can add all the other elements, it will never be complete until LoL has it's own standalone team only voice chat.
