Why the hell is Zed's ban rate so high?

Like, I get that he was broken at one point, but that's not true anymore. After they made his harass more reasonable, he's basically fine.

And if you want to ban a broken midlaner, there are way more broken champions you could be banning. Syndra, Cass, and Kennen are all much better bans than Zed right now.

Seriously, Zed is super average right now. He has close to a 50% ban rate, but his pickrate is only 8% and his winrate is normal. All the champions I mentioned are seeing more pro play, have similar or higher pick rates, and higher win rates, and yet for some reason people are banning Zed over them.

He is still stronger than most of midlaners. Only most Zed players who abused him in first half of the season, when he was twice as broken, boosted themselves to ELO's they can't keep up in with a champion who isn't literal freelo.

That or simple nobody wants to see his face anymore.

Well, sometimes people want to play squishy champions without getting deleted.

All those champs you listed do not have a pooload of mobility to top their high damage, so they are generally much less threatening unless you mess up.

cause even if i buy a zhonya he gnna ult the next squishy without a defense item since Qss no longer removes his ult the adc has no way to stop himself from feeding a zed. i legit saw a zed run right past me and flash ulted my jhin missed every shuriken ignited him and recalled back to his shadow while duskblade + his ult killed poor jhin and since jhin support didnt take exhaust there was nothing we could do about it.

because he's an easy broken champ and people think they're good with him, if you don't think he's broken look at his passive alone, if you're under 50% health, his autos do up to 10% of your max health, his fuck autos! aside from that he can turret dive with no consequences and it's extremely unfair to play against him

Because he's annoying to play against even if he's garbage as fuck and one of the worst possible midlaners to pick.
