This jungle though...

this jungle is ridiculous, the monsters are all strong AF and you only start with 2 health pots?! until i reached level 11 or so i was losing most of my health to the point I could not even gank. It might also just be me but it seems like im not getting much XP from the camps either, well atleast not at much from before.

i might need to jungle a little more but this is just what is going through my head right now,

i played a game as vi, and after getting a really really bad leash, (just a twisted fate poking it with aa's) my first clear still worked out, but no gank. I then bought my item and went back to the jungle, and things went smoothly and ganks were quite possible at about level 5. The jungle is more challenging but to me, its more rewarding and i really enjoy it.

that's the point of it though, for the monsters to be stronger. supposedly, early ganks are a bigger surprise now.

but you wont be able to get both buffs before you do it.

The 2 pot start is to force you to back early and make your choice on jungling knife Past the first back it should be harder to sustain, but easily managable

This is to gate who can do what. Early ganking junglers have just enough sustain early on to be able to gank.

What jungler were you using?

Ranger TrailBlazer is the best item for jungling in my opinion, even though you lose out on smiting champions it will allow you stay in jungle for much longer and makes everything much eaiser. the stun is amazing and the 15% heal/mp recovery that activates upon smiting is amazing, i havent tried it but i wonder if smiting a minon as your running away would also give you 15% hp back, although i have a feeling this item will get nerfed in the near future.

ive also learn that you have to start at the smaller camps first, get a good leash at gromp, then blue, birds and maybe the rocks before backing and getting the 1st ranger trailerblazer machete. then jungle goes back to be easier.

apparently ganking is anti-fun so rito just wants junglers to rice the woods the whole game

Lol the new jungle is now a challenge. On the bright side for Jungler mains, now there will be no new jungler mains to compete over your position. Lol.

As someone who didn't bother with the previous jungle because it was ONLY focused on fast clearing and early ganking, I'm loving it and really considering moving to the jungle.

Champions I already enjoy do good at clearing, such as Yorick, who can full clear and still be at full health, which is insane in this jungle and not easy to be honest, have to work at it...but I LIKE that.

It is nice to have to think about what I'm doing and make my own choices and not feel like I'm walking in the footprints of the past 100 junglers and feeling obligated to do it how everyone else does it. It is fun.

I dislike the jungle a lot. I'm a jungle main at the Diamond level and the new jungle is really frustrating adjusting to.

I know the new jungle is meant to add diversity to the meta but I feel like it just boxes everything, and you have to play this really boring farm style early to get anywhere. Ganks DO NOT seem beneficial at all early because most of the time you'll just apply pressure without getting a kill, and there seems to be more benefits in powering in the jungle.

I really don't like where the jungle is headed. I do like the new items, but I feel there are too many options which target similar things and are too confusing and need to be consolidated.

Jungle camps need to be nerfed hard. It's too painful to clear the jungle early on two pots, and realistically I can't even bother to play it until things change.

Sooo I'm hoping some drastic changes happen and not little ones because Jungle used to be my favourite role, but for now I'll just lane and complain until things get better.

Making the jungle harder, I'm not all that against. But the increased cost which means only 2 pots, that is a problem. That and while playing Udyr, my early sustain is gone. The machete upgrades just don't provide enough heal early on. The heal on hit is better for AD champs than this static regen because often we hit faster and thus get more health out of it (I.E. Udyr's tiger stance).

I watched the patch rundown and I think they made a good point about this. Maybe most junglers aren't suppose to gank early game. Maybe supports will have to roam lanes early game to fill in for the jungler. As a support then jungle main I think a change up like that would be pretty cool.

So the jungle's job is to hide away in his jungle and farm mobs all game? Seriously, it's so boring playing jungle now because I never have time to interact with other players, I'm so busy clearing and backing.

I main Amumu and I really felt this hit hard...I completely forgot that Spirit of the Wraith was gone and was stuck in limbo as to what to build first because the bonus in armor and damage against monsters and AP increase was useful and built from Machete's. Then there was the whole 2 pots start since Amumu is so Mana hungry I rely on Blue Buff but since the timer is shorter by the time I get back from the shop it's gone and can't help anyone or even do much damage. It's really frustrating to be honest.
