Clarity changes I think would be extremely useful.

So I love this game, but I think that the in game UI is lacking a lot of vital information that could be useful during gameplay. Certain clarity changes that I think Riot should implement are:

  • Cooldown timers for your runes, including minor runes like scorch and manaflow band. But at the very least cooldown timers for our keystones. Preferably on top of our ability bar. These cooldown timers can help us plan our courses much more effectively.
  • A Tab we can open that shows us the current amount of damage dealt to champions, objective, towers, etc. that can help us identify who the main damage dealer is more easily and also to be more satisfied about our own damage numbers. Smite has this feature I think league should have it too.
  • Numbers showing the amount of damage dealt by each ability we currently have. Is this a particularly important change? I don't think so, but it can be a very satisfying one.
  • Amount of healing done to allies in the endgame screen, not just healing in general.
  • A utility score, just like there is a crowd control score.
  • Info showing number of wards placed and destroyed by each team member in game.

Those are the ones that have been in my mind... Also why do we still have a spell vamp counter? Doesn't spell vamp not even exist anymore?

I'd like an explanation accessible in game on just how exactly some of the more abstract scores are calculated. (Vision score and CC score especially.)

And for some reason I don't believe that lifesteal and spell vamp actually contribute to healing done, or if they do, as much as they should. I've never felt that it's been accurate in any of my games as Nasus.

But yeah, a better breakdown of stats would be lovely to see. (And a better death recap but we've been dreaming of that for years.)

It sounds like you're trying to nudge Riot to take a leaf from the HotS UI though. Which I'll admit, I don't like the game personally, but I do like how granular the info you get back is! Lets you see what works well and what doesn't with numbers to back it up.
