Fresh LvL 30s Shouldn't Be Able To Hop Into Ranked Games
...OR their starting mmr needs to be reduced to mid bronze or started at Bronze 5. Start them low and let them get higher based on their placement games. Don't start them Silver then let them get stomped into bronze 5.
- Before I say the rest of my peace, I will say I think that Smurfs should be able to be created off of a main account as lvl 30 to verify them as smurfs so they can start ranked from there.
That being said, I don't feel actual fresh level 30 accounts should be allowed to jump right into ranked. I have had multiple first time ranked players, as in LITERALLY never played a single ranked game ever, just hit 30, hop into ranked. For some reason these people are placed mid silver MMR and they jump in and that game is basically a 100% loss.
Yes I did just finish a game with one, so yes I am a bit tllted by it, but it isn't even the first time this week as I had one on my jungler alt as well earlier today. A fresh level 30 account is maybe Bronze 4 skill wise in almost every case, as few people are actually ready for ranked once they hit 30. Most don't even have access to anything but blind pick for the majority of their leveling and have no way of even knowing if their champ is good factually.
Yes it seems "unfair" to bar them from entering ranked, but it is a lot more unfair to people trying to climb out of the cesspool of Silver and be matched with a potato because the poor guy was put into a game they had no business being in skill wise. Had one in my promo game earlier on my jgl alt and that was just frustrating. It is a bad situation for both parties. When you have people join ranked matches and they have 40 cs by 25 minutes as an adc it is tilting, and probably feels pretty bad for the person doing it.
Silver might be meme'd as bad, but most people that are fresh 30 are NOT Silver skill wise. It is just a toxic experience that ruins games pointlessly.
