With an average 41% win-rate versus mage, no scaling magic resistance, low base damage, highest mana costs in all League, a spell that has a high cd, cost charges and cost mana too. Indeed he has the shittiest shield in the game 'cause it procs on collision, and he's weak all game:he has weak early game, low scaling potential and he gets outclassed from all champions. He should be an anti-mage/asasssin, but he lose to all matchups, ap or not. Only Katarina could lose to him, but when she gets ludens is still usefull and strong, but kassadin is still the worst champion to play right now, unplayable. We all know that he was a monster in season 3, but it was 2 seasons ago. And he still gets nerfs because he is such a problem right now!Of course there are not champions that are toxic and unfun to play against

hes not a problem right now. you buff him with his current kit, and he will become a problem. like every time.

remove his ult and give him a new one. its been impossible to balance the champ because of it since season 1. they tried doing everything else and changed his base kit, and hes still either trash or at 90% ban rate when strong.

there is obviously no middle ground with this champion. it has been going on for 5 years with kassadin. he was never in a state where he was balanced.

I think that doing something like Ekko could be good. Good utility, but hard to use, high damage but not burst.

What I would do is this:

Null Sphere: Buff the shield but change it to magic damage only (he's an anti-mage for a reason)
Nether Blade: Grants more mana
Buff his scaling armor from +3.2 to +3.5
Buff his scaling health from +78 to +82

Honestly this is nothing. Only utility. He has literally 0 damge. Full build he could not shot a carry with all his spells
