Technically, Sodium isn't a salt, its an Alkali Earth Metal. Salts are a metal cation ionic bonded to a single or poly-atomic anion, for example NaCl.

Some of my favorite salts are: Potassium Acetate - KCH3COO Barium Sulfate - BaSO4 toxic and unstable, I consider this to be the most common salt produced by league players Silver Nitrate - AgNO3 silver joke here

most of the chlorine goes to the NaCl for league, but the remaining part goes into the bleach we drink because we play this game =p
