There's been a lot of true damage added to the game and it's getting a bit concerning

Since preseason we've had Zoe E causing bonus true damage, Conqueror, and now new I.E. and the new Ryze Q. I'm worried that true damage is starting to become the new CDR and is becoming too common.

I agree, but as the game grows new design space should be explored. True damage was a design space old devs essentially made taboo, only allowing a few champions access to it. I'm guessing the new devs are using that unexplored design space to find a healthy iteration of true damage on more champions. Perhaps the first few attempts may not be perfect, or even good, but hopefully as they continue to explore they'll figure out a healthy niche(s) for true damage.

So I think it's still too soon to say there's too much true damage in the game. Personally I didn't like where they took cdr in the later seasons; I thought it was too widespread. Now that they've made it slightly harder for mages to max cdr, I feel like cdr is in a better place than ever before.

I really wish theyd make a defensive boot that gives health instead of Armor or MR. Because True damage is getting out of control.
