Hey all, I recently posted a discussion about switching from an almost Mastery 6 Ashe to a Jungling main. I've been trying out Graves, Amumu, and Rek'Sai pre-6.18.
I have no desire to get RP; I'd rather use IP.
Who would be another great champion to jungle with and why?

I have noticed Zac in many games and I've seen YouTuber/LoLer Pants are Dragon play him often. I'll definitely have to purchase him and try him out. He's a solid jungler and he is very tanky.
I'll have to experiment/YouTube some Gragas videos. I've never seen/played against a Gragas surprisingly.

Duke Anax1 votesFunnily enough Soraka is actually my best Jungler (90% winrate in bronze if my team didn't freak out).
But I'd never advocate someone try it unless they are a Soraka main and really know what they are doing in the jungle.

Soraka jungle is not a real thing. Trying her in the jungle will make you regret asking the boards. Junglers want mobility, CC and damage. She has none of those three things.

These champs have pretty safe clears and aren't too difficult to use. You many want to avoid the higher skill cap Junglers as a new player

I have been meaning to try out but never got around to it.
I try to avoid because, imo, he's trash late game. (from the games I've played against him or when a teammate chose him)
I'll definitely put my focus into buying with my IP and stop trying to play high skill cap champs.

Duke Anax2 votesBest advice i got for playing WW: avoid engaging with ult, it wastes all the heal and gives them a chance to react afterwards.
Try to cut them off first and use ult when you are low or they start to run.

I'd hazard that is (IMO) super dull to play. He is probably, by far, the easiest jungle champion to learn, since he has amazing sustain and his kit is extremely straightforward. However, the straightforwardness of his kit also makes him less than stimulating. On the other hand, he's pretty cheap, so go ahead and pick him up if you'd like to give him a try.
is another good one. For a newer player, I'd pick him over , since his ult is much more forgiving to use (i.e. if you whiff a Sejuani ult, you may well throw the fight; it's pretty well impossible to miss an Amumu ult though). Both have similar kits and fill very similar roles.

I think he was my first favorite jungler. Before that no one really ever clicked with me (maybe Skarner ... not sure), but playing Zac was some of the most fun I've ever had in league of legends. His E ability (where he jumps far and knocks people up) was so fun and satisfying compared to everyone else. I could fly through the map with it and become an unstoppable gank monster. He really is one of the most powerful gankers in the game and has excellent engage (of course, that engage is countered if the enemy team knows what they're doing, like poppy w, rek'sai knock up, thresh flay, well placed viktor w, etc.).

All I have to say is wow. This is extremely helpful! Thank you very much! I'll definitely have to try Zac out now haha! I can tell you're very passionate about Zac and seem to know a lot about his play-style, so I'll save the IP and buy him.

Unfortunately he's gotten more popular (I think because of Meteos?) and he sees more bans in ranked. He's always been my go to jungle as well :( Now I can't listen to his smooth smooth voice anymore.

If by bad early clears you mean, can clear both buffs plus every camp except one in his first clear in a reasonable time frame, then yeah, it's pretty bad. Not the fastest or safest, but far removed from the worst.
His pre-6 ganks aren't as bad as most junglers that want 6 because he still has a range extender, gapcloser, AS booster and the opportunity to abuse stealth. I will grant that Wukong wants level 6, but it isn't as dire as one may be lead to believe by your post.
