I finally had the pleasure of laning aganist Zyra.
Gotta say is was quite an ordeal to lane aganist her and I can see why her winrate is so high.
In a way she's like Azir, as in you can't get anywhere near her without losing half HP, except better, because she doesn't have to choose between farming and poking.
First of all their AI got better, but that isn't necessary bad. It's becomes bad when we consider the following:
- Thorn Spitter plants have an absurd range of 750, which is higher than all, but two champions in the game and those being ulting Twitch and Caitlyn who just hit a plant with the Net.
- Plants will always prioritize champions in range, when summoned. Considering her passive, that'd be... WHOLE LANE.
- Each of her plants will usually hit twice before you are able to react and move out of their reach.
- Speaking of reach her abilities are too generous with growing plants, to the point of lack of need of any aiming.
- The final conclusion about Zyra's range is 1600 long poke for 60 mana without the need of aiming.
Gotta say, that at least the plants range should be cut down.
I can only imagine what kind of hell she must be for melee champs.

And the very next game I played aganist Zyra as melee.
My observations:
- She never runs out of mana.
- She never has a downtime, a moment you can fight her.
- Her basic abilities deal no damage, everything is loaded into plants.
- Q and E can proc plants from so far outside their hitbox, you have to try really hard, to not proc at least 3 additional seeds scattered around opposite sides of lane.
