Im cool with her changes, but her changes in hands with removing EC is just bullshit, theres nothing you can do against her unless you have ignite which isn't even that strong anymore.

That is true, but this item only works on magic damage abilities, so it has to be an ap champion (unless you troll build it on an ad champ for the proc on some ability) it also require the enemy to be under 40% which with a soraka late game can be challenging.

The point to be made is you can not simply remove the only means besides ignite and grievous wounds (which i can only thing of a few that have this on ability) for AD champs to counter any form of healing. Yes executioner's calling was slightly dumb on the fact that it would proc all the time - but ad's still need a way to counter healing like they give ap's

Get an aggressive support Leona , grab lvl 2 first and take a dump on her. You won't win against soraka (new or old) by poking her, she just heals everything. Her lvl 1-2 is terrible and is when you should go in on her. The lane will only get harder as time goes on and she puts more points into her heal.

Its more her late game that i find to be an issue where she can just drain her own life and keep someone alive through almost anything. Of course you could focus her but shes generally in the back-ish of the team so it probably not the best choice to dive for her if you were going to dive at all.
