Why Nerf One trick pony players that plays heimerdinger?

taleofsonata··4 votes·680 views

The heck did they even do? This champion always had a high winrate because of one trick pony player who plays heimerdinger because they love the champion. Not to abuse him, he has the most unique playstyle in the game and you want to remove it from the game? What's wrong with the Balance Team. Oh boy I can't wait for their BULLSHIT Context in the patch notes.

Edits:

Riot: Ya boy Heimerdinger does some serious damage. Probably too much, in fact...

When did the Balance team stop being serious?

Well we in the balance department are mostly ADCs, and we f***ing hate Support Heimerdinger's turret KS all our sheet, yo. - Random Quote you know is true, but won't ever be said or claimed to be true.

Because Riot's employees clearly failed science in school

Heimer is my second most played champ after the best girl Nami. As a top laner mostly, I know how frustrating he can be. But I'll tell you exactly why they have nerfed this damage and only this damage on his kit.

You can proc it twice now.

Before his mini rework, all his Ult+Q did was sit there and at some point fire a laser beam if it was on for long enough and is people stayed in range. His mini rework made it so that throwing out a bomb or rockets can make it fire faster as per the normal Q but there wasn't a reduced time like they had and the damage stayed the same, unlike the normal Q turrets. You could proc 200 damage at level 6 twice if you did it right. That's 400 damage plus your AP.

BTW, not justifying it. I think it's an unwanted nerf on a very low playrate champ who will NEVER see pro play. Just pointing to the reason that Riot don't want to mention.

I’m pretty sure people here complained a lot about Heimerdinger.

This was a kneejerk reaction nerf cause “Heimerdinger ruins melees hurr durr”

Just because his play style is unique doesn't mean it's good. Singed is unique but people hate fighting against him.

Play against Heimer as a non-mobility melee-ranged champion with very little ranged spells. It's the most fun you'll ever have (sarcasm).

As a Heimerdinger Main I can play against the most fearsome Heimedinger and won't lose to him. Because I'm not stupid enough to lose lane to heimerdinger.
