Nidalee worth picking up?

I mainly play Riven/Fiora top, with a bit of Quinn on the back side, and J4 and Diana as safe picks when jg/mid.

I haven't had much practice with skillshots, which is a pretty big deal with Nidalee. How much would that fuck me until I got it, and how long should it take me to get decent at it, and: is it worth?

you would do absolutely nothing if you dont land a skillshot. Her Damage combo is Spear-> transform-> Pounce-> Q (no idea what the name is)-> Swipe-> Pounce away if they are dead or not low, if low and you arnt gonna get cucked by the enemy team then chase...... and if you miss the initial spear the entire combo is fucked

She recently got a buff, so she may be back in circulation next patch. That being said, she takes skill to use. She is very skillshot reliant and her clears take some practice. A lot of her kit is kiting and spell weaving.

My mains are Riven and Fiora - I can take some shit while learning :P

Kit for kiting and spellweaving... while jungling, or in general? I've played some Kindred, and had pretty good clears with her - is Nidalee's clear a lot tougher before you can kite well?

Her clear is one of the hardest to manage, but it shouldn't take a while to learn. I'd look up a replay from a Nidalee player so that you can understand how to set up clears (traps), weave autos, and use abilities from both regular and ult form on CD.

For fighting, a lot of her ganking is more burst, but later on during team fights kiting is a lot more important.

Go into a custom game and try to do a clear based on a video, it'll help.

Haven't even bought her yet, which is why I'm asking :P

Gonna watch some replays/streams etc to see if I like it + how to do it. Any recommendations?

Streams may be a bit dry, she isn't really in higher ELO right now and her buff just hit live today. I'd search No sales jungle on YouTube and then filter search results by recent.
