I hate getting autofill "protection"

Whenever I get autofill "protection" I feel like the match making system cut corners in order to match a wait time similar to those without it and just throws me in whatever group of people need the positions I queued for filled.

I don't need that kind of position "guarantee" if it means the system is just going to wing it with the matching. Give me the option to say no to those more than likely losses.

Auto fill, is here it sucks. I main jungle I don't get autofill a lot. but its one in 10 games, although for jungle its like 1 in 50 imo. its one game. do your best.

I said auto fill protection. The thing you get after a game you had been autofilled in. If it actually matched you decently then I would like it but instead its just throws a dart while blind folded and boom that's where you land.

Even if you don't get auto filled, somebody has to fill that role. The fact that you were protected from autofill doesn't change that.

Really it's just the randomness and probability that the support, (usually the support anyways) actually being someone who mains that role is really low. So if your not volunteering yourself for the unwanted position, you might just end up with someone less competent. (Or someone who intentionally ignores the role's requirements)

its not the same since the system is actively insuring that you will receive one of the 2 positions you queued for. From what I have seen from all and most recent auto fill "protected" games its definitely seems like the quality of my games are sacrificed in order to fulfill the requirement. Games are enough of a coin flip as it is. I don't want it if it means turning the flip of a coin into a dice roll instead.

Give me the occasional autofill if it must but Riot can keep the "protection" that comes afterwards because it aint worth it for me.
