New Champ. Select Trolling Protection Idea

I'm sick of trying to play Zilean mid and having it banned by my own team in some attempt to troll me. I'd like to use pick intent so my team knows what I'm going for and can build around it but I don't want to be trolled anymore. I think champions that you pick as your intended should be immune to being banned by your team (unless you ban it yourself).

That's not trolling and you should know that.

I understand and do not disagree with the people who are going to be banning Jhin in their ranked games for the next week.

I agree, in one sense.

On the other, slightly more unwieldy hand, however...

There are a lot of champions that are FUN to play in roles they're not meant to be played in.

There are plenty of Champions who are GOOD to play in roles they're not intended for.

Then there are the champions who are clearly-countered by playing in a role they're not intended for.

Zilean's one of those cases.

His passive makes him GREAT in a support role, but mid, well...What can you do with it? Level up your jungler after he fails a Gank?

His kit's all over the place, honestly, and his W should be moved to his passive, given scaling similar to Garen's Heal.

And then you "intend" playing reneger / lee / zed / soraka / graves / anything op, and the enemy team picks it first. you're gonna rage. So no, they shouldn't be immune and this is fine. This is why THREE people get ban power, so they can feel as if they're helping. And if you decide on going zilean mid in a ranked game and your team mates ban him, u shouldn't even be mad. I feel like it's ok if my champ is banned. You can pick another champ. AKA Janna mid. Cuz you know.
